SRI Interview - Q: It’s gotta be difficult when basically your fan base is rooting against you guys? They basically want to see you lose every game, so you can get the kid, Andrew Luck, out of Stanford. That’s gotta be a little disheartening. Isn’t it?

A: “It’s sick actually. I can’t even fathom those thoughts of those people that conjure up that stuff. They have never played sports and pretty much aren’t really our loyal fans. I can’t really put any weight into that and I know the players don’t listen to it. It’s a shame, but people are going to talk and we just have to block that out.” 

I would actually choose to call these fans the most loyal and educated fans.  The smart fans realize how much you suck and want the FUTURE to be a little brighter.  You are out of the playoffs at this point and all they have to look forward to is next year.

Anyone that would rather you win 2 games than 1 game and lose out on the best QB prospect in decades would be the worst fan you could possibly have.  Fasano just needs to know his roll and be happy that Luck will probably throw him more than 1 ball per game which is what he is getting on the current team.
