Is the New BCS Playoff System Better or Worse Than the Old One

ESPN - A four-team playoff for college football has been formally approved by a presidential oversight committee, a dramatic change for the sport that will begin in 2014 and continue through the 2025 season. The four teams will be chosen by a selection committee, the semifinals will be held at current bowl sites and the national championship game will be awarded to the highest bidder.

Seriously I thought everyone was down with a new playoff system and today I hear on the radio that people aren't happy with it.  Yes clearly some undefeated teams will still be left out at some point and yes it's probably gonna cause some argument when they announce the people voting on the teams who get in, but a playoff is the only way to go and 4 teams is plenty.  It's the only damn sport (Real Sport) in the world that doesn't have a playoff system to determine the champion.  And most importantly my team (VT Hokies) might actually have a chance to play for a title with this system.  Let's be honest the ACC is worthless these days and going undefeated in that league proves nothing.  At least we have a chance to sneak in the top 4 spots now.

BCS Playoff?
